Doris Davies Memorial Celebration of Life for Doris Davies, a well-known High Desert resident, fun-loving and generous, who dedicated her life to community service and children's programs and benefits. Doris suffered a stroke Thursday, July 16th and passed away Wednesday morning at Victor Valley Community Hospital. The Life memorial will be held tonight, July 30th, at 6pm at the Victorville Fairgrounds. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the BEARS foundation c/o Hook community Center, 14973 Joshua St, Victorville, CA 92394.

High Desert Drupal group  6-8 pm.  
meets the first Wednesday monthly in the conference room at the Apple Valley McDonalds on the corner of Apple Valley Rd and Bear Valley.. This local group is a nice place for people to learn and talk about Drupal, a world popular content management system (CMS). We also talk about web development in general, covering all aspects from planning, design, development, and maintaining a web site.
